Question 1: Who are the jinn?
The jinn are among the creatures that Allah (swt) created. Allah (swt) created angels, jinn, mankind, animals, plants and others. Jinn have some qualities like human beings. These qualities are intellect, discrimination, freedom, and the power to choose between right and wrong, between true and false, as well as between good and bad.
Question 2: When did Allah (swt) create the jinn?
Allah (swt) created the jinn before Adam (pbuh) was created. Both were created in heaven and lived in paradise. One may read in Surah Al-Hijr (The Rocky Tract) [Qur'an, 15:26-27]. However, nothing was mentioned about the duration of time of the jinn's creation before Adam (pbuh).
Question 3: What are jinn created from?
Jinn are created from fire of hot wind [Qur'an, 15:27]; and from smokeless fire [Qur'an, 55:15]. They were originally made from fire and then molded and shaped in the form and shape that Allah (swt) wanted them to be.
Question 4: Do jinn have bodies?
Yes and no! It depends upon the information that one has. One group of scholars believe that jinn do not have bodies of their own. They also do not inhabit bodies of other creatures. However, they do exist independently by themselves. Therefore, they do not know how they exist without bodies: smoke, flame, fire or what?
The other group of scholars do believe that jinn do have bodies either definite or subtle. If their bodies are definite then they have some density; otherwise, if they are subtle, then they are so fine that our weak eyes cannot see them. One may read Surah Al-A'raf (The Heights) [Qur'an, 7:27]. Even if they are subtle they should have weight and density similar to that of the air itself.
Question 5: Do jinn die?
Yes. Jinn do die. As long as they are creatures created by Allah (swt), they should die. They are creatures that marry, produce children, eat, drink, and die like all other creatures in the universe. One may read Qur'an Surah Al-Rahman (The Most Merciful) [Qur'an, 55:26-28].
Question 6: Do the jinn feel envy of us?
Yes. There are two types of evil eye: human and the jinn. One has to read regularly 'A'oozu Billahi Minash-shaitanir Rajeem. Also, by reading Ayah Al-Kursi and Al-Mu'awwazatain, one will be protected from the evil eyes of both the jinn and mankind.
Question 7: Are there messengers and prophets from within the community of jinn?
Yes. Allah (swt) has sent prophets and messengers to jinn from within the jinn community. Also, Allah (swt) sent Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to mankind, to jinn, and to other creatures. In Surah Al-An'am (The Cattle), Allah (swt) explains that He sent messengers to men and to jinn. See Qur'an [6:130].
Question 8: Do jinn have different religions, sects and denominations?
In Surah Al-Jinn (Ch. 72), Allah (swt) informs us that some jinn accepted Islam, while others refused. Those who refused have deviated, and developed for themselves different methods, different ways of life, and different religions, sects and denominations.
Question 9: Do jinn marry and have children?
Yes. Jinn do marry and they do have children. The way they marry is not known to us yet. We may be able to know the future if Allah (swt) wants us to know.
People never knew about microbes, viruses, and the unseen micro creatures. Now we are able to know many things about their life cycles, their life duration, their methods of duplication or reproduction: sexually and asexually. The mere fact that we do not know how the jinn marry and reproduce does not negate their being married and reproduced. The Qur'an stipulates in Surah Al-Kahf (18:50) that they have offsprings. Similarly, the Qur'an states in Surah Al-Rahman (55:56) that jinn and human beings never touched (married) the ladies of paradise.
Question 10: Do jinn have animals as pets?
Yes. Jinn do have animals or beasts of their own. The Prophet (pbuh) mentioned that every piece of dung is fodder for the beasts of the jinn. However, we do not know what type of beasts the jinn have. The same thing is to be said as to the varieties of beasts, their number, their shape, their size, their weight and so on.
Question 11: Do jinn have homes of their own?
Yes. The jinn do have homes. They live all over the planet earth. However, there are special places that one may find them in abundance and on a regular basis. These are deserts, ruins, places of impurities such as dunghills, bathrooms and graveyards. They live in houses of human beings too. For those who enter their houses mentioning the name of Allah (swt), the jinn cannot have a place to stay overnight in that house. If the people of the house mention the name of Allah (swt) before eating, then the shaitan will not be able to eat with them.
Question 12: Is it true that animals see jinn and angels?
Yes. Animals do see angels and shaitan. When a rooster sees an angel, it starts crowing. However, when a donkey starts braying it is seeing a jinn.

In our opinion the majority mentioned by Imam Ibn Qayyim Al Jawzi is a high majority now; especially in this modern age of fithan.
We have experienced that a lots of people (especially from Kerala, S.India) are either affected by Sihr (Black Magic) or have mass(Jinn/devil Possession) or are touched by eyn (evil eyes). Many of these people are approached/approaching the sahirs/witches (I.e.. people doing black magic from different religions/ doing treatments with the help of shaytwaan like durmathrawaadies, namboothiries, panikkars, Qhuraafi mollas, Thangals, thangaluppas, ammas, Bheevies, Khojas, other man-gods etc.. for curing the problems caused by Shayaatheen. All these methods adopted Except Ruqay al-Sharaeyyah (Ruqyah that are allowed/recommended in Islam) is either shirk/kufr and haram.
Brothers, we were identifies in the following case the diseases was cause by jinn. We list them below:
Epilepsy - Failed by medical treatments for years.
Quickly turning away from Deenul Islam and worships. Not praying, not reading Quran, not careful about the religion etc. All are happened quickly over weeks or few months.

Any kind of psychological problem failed by treatment of psychiatrists – OR continuing medicine for long periods (say years) but if the patient stop medicine again same problem starts. (If re-occurring on stopping medicine then it is not a treatment for the disease rather it is a treatment to adjust the patient to make complaint-less from the disease!!)
Paralysis of full body or any part of the body or any organ without any medical reason.
Tendency to commit suicide many often.
Sleep-less-ness for days/weeks altogether without any reasons of / sufficient reason for sleep-less-ness. Even psychiatrists and his sleeping pills failed on one case!
Pain in any part / organ of the body, medically treating for years but not cured; especially abdominal.
Wound/scratch on any part of the body medically treating for years but not cured.
Any particular disease repeats in a particular solar months or dates. (Fore example: we have seen one old lady was having asthma (chest congestion and breathing problems) by the end of July/first of August every year. This is for the last 40 years. Even last year, she had on 03/08/2008.
Un-cured asthma (chest congestion and breathing problems) it increases during night times. Some time patient way cry out "I am dying now..." "I am dying now..." but it happens for many days for years without dying!. Medically treated but not cured for years.
Being falling unconscious quite often; especially in the bath rooms. Treated but not cured.
Falling unconscious started first time on seeing suddenly a snake, dog, cat, or any human shape.
Wishing to do work / read / write / study etc., but can not. Patient feels as some body stops from doing work / read / write / study etc. This is too much in children. One example: A girl aged 16 years; stopped school, prayer, reading quran and everything, even stopped going out from home; her weight was 89 Kg. Her only job was eating and sleeping. Medically no problem.
Kids having the mental position of the half of their age. For example: Boy aged 7 having the brain of 3 years. Too naughty. He can’t hear the words Allah, Lailaaha, subhaanallah etc... if he hears it he close the ears with hand!. He doesn’t like his mother/ father praying or reading Quran. He like too much the TV and Music.
Feels weight on the head / forehead; may be permanently and coming and going without any medical reason.
Epilepsy / body pains / serious illness on the first night (of marriage); or during first days of marriage; during exams / interviews etc. Such cases have confirmed due to jinn. In one case, a well-studying boy got blindness in during exam time without any medical reason. It was also confirmed due to jinn. In one case few days before the marriage started seviour stomach pain without any medical reason; medical report was perfect. It has resulted in divorce because of this pain.
Not having children / do not have the ability for pregnancy even though both husband and wife are medically fit and sound.
Frequent abortions without any medical reason. Such cases are too much!!!
Irregular menstrual periods; Sometime for months altogether no periods without any medical reasons.
- Excessive bleeding during periods without any medical reasons. For example one case informed us, she is having bleeding almost 22-24 days in a month. Over years they consulted many doctors and the problem was not cured permanently. We send them a CD copy of the RUQYA sound file and advised to hear it for many days... After one week they reported back that she was cured and it was almost one year before and now again reported the same problem. She started to hear the ruqyah and feel dumbness while hearing the verses of sihr.
Sevier back Pain / abdominal pains during menses without any medical reasons.
Too frequently urinating and some time not urinating at all for days al-together without any medical reasons.
Frequent back-winds/gas and not able to keep wudhu even until completing one prayer. He can’t go to masjids at all. It was not cured with medicine.
Bleeding for ladies start whenever they are prepared to go to holy places (like Mecca or Madinah). This repeated many times.
Frequent migraines/ serious head ache without medical reasons.
Getting too much angry for small and irrelevant reasons – Especially with spouse, relatives and friends, doubting every body without any valid reasons and will have a sense of isolations, at last will have a tendency for suicide.
Frequently beating the wife for unwanted reasons, then feel grief/sorry after some time. This is continued for years. Example: 9 years.
Through out the day time husbands and wife are in good/lovely mood but when they ready/prepare for copulation they get each other troubles and quarrels for unwanted reasons and unable to copulate – (Even two/three months altogether like this!)
Wife don’t like the presence of husband, but if the husband is away from the home (Example. office) like to see him and feel love; but once he comes back again don’t like his presence. It was reported from a depression case not cured by medicine.
No enjoyments of sex but able for ejaculation and having children. Both husband and wife did never taste the pleasure of sex – For 10 years. Medically both are fit and sound.
During sex with wife, husband gets erection and able to penetration only when he visualizes "a particular girl" in his mind/eyes and he has to closing the eyes. If he do sex by opening his eyes or by even visualizing his own wife he can't get erection!. This was not cured with medicine.
Man unable to copulate with wife and do not get erection – Also some ladies do not like to have sex with husband and feels body pain while copulation. That cases not cured by medicine.
Wives frequently demanding divorce for silly and unwanted reasons. A girl quarrel and fight in the house of husband; but when she come to her home she feel grief and love towards husband and his relatives. Then she will make serried phone calls, again when she goes husband’s house it repeats. Psychiatrists failed in this case.
Quarrelling between husband and wife for very silly and unwanted reasons. Both of them will never adjust with the other even for silly matter. This is happened even between spouses religiously educated.
Unwanted fearing – fearing without any reason. This is found too much in children and ladies.
Unusual fearing by seeing the picture of snakes, even in the school books, in TV.
Wishing to attend but can not attend prayer in Masjids/ wishing but can not hear Islamic teachings, speeches etc... Wishing but can not read Quran. When reaches holy places like Masjid al Haram get annoyed and want to come back quickly for no reason; and in haram he quarrels with relatives for no reason.
Feeling somebody catches in the neck in the night during half-sleep. (Not a dreaming) and unable to wakeup.
Frequent laughing/crying/walking/running in the sleeping or consciously but uncontrollably during wake-up position. One case was walked to a grave-yard near their house, that girl do not know that graveyard before that incident. There she was wandering for hours when the relatives located her.
Patient frequently complains that he/she seeing some shapes / light / creatures like cats/dogs/snakes/man-shapes not identifiable in side the house. BUT others can not see.
Patient frequently complains that he/she heard the sound of any creatures from behind. BUT others can not hear.
Patient frequently complains that he/she smells something BUT others can not smell.
Sudden and abnormal forgetting. (Fore Example: a Muslim suddenly forgot the meaning of "asthagfirullah" !)
Lots of skin diseases not cured with medical treatments. Especially big round marks like that of a snakes etc, Black coloured spots in the skin itching
Body week / tiredness especially in the early hours of the day and unable to get up / unable to go to schools / unable to work / ladies unable to prepare foods and send kids to schools etc.. For example mother can not prepare foods and send the kids to schools. After some time they will get and feels alright.
Sudden anger in kids; some times talking unknown/unclear languages; some time unusual strength etc. One case: One night, one boy was talking and behaving with violent actions, talking in the voice of an old man, both mother and father was not able to control; he was having the strength of 4 men!
Going excess blood with stool / heavy bleeding though anus without any medical reason for years.
Continuously moving position. Even half minutes a patient can not sit without moving hand/leg/head or any part if the body. Only during sleeping in motion-less position.
Sexual Impotence – Couples are too lovely but no use; resulting either in the divorce.
Shaking the bed and chairs, moving furniture in the house, throwing things from out side etc. Sound like somebody walks through the upper side of home.
Itching in the places between thighs and belly. This is happening in the night only. This was medically treating more than 10 years. Al-hamdulillah it was cured with in one day on applying the Quran recited mustard oil quickly.
Laughing uncontrollably. When hearing the name of Allah, serious news like when hearing aayathul kursi(2:25), law anjalnah(59:21-24), death news of somebody, when her own kids fell down, when she hears news of accidents, etc. laughing uncontrollably. Also chest congestion and unnecessary fearing also. For the last 3.5 years taken medical treatments no use except money loss. It was confirmed due to Jinn.
One boy having head ache only on the school working days, head ache will start in the second hour of of school and during the examination periods. School of days no head ache. For almost 6 years this has been continuing and all medical treatments have failed. It was confirmed because of a jinn.
One kid, feels frightened while hearing adhaan from masjid. She responds while hearing quran and tries to block hearing.
One girl, she complains fever every day, but others can not recognize by touching the body, tested in many hospitals but all results were OK. It was confirmed due to a jinn.
Excessive smoking (he wish and tries to stop it after by-pass surgery), while stopping smocking he feels like mad and unable to stop it. It was confirmed due to a jinn.
Anxiety: For more than 16 years. Consulted many doctors but no use. It was confirmed due to jinn.
One lady without having pregnancy for more than 15 years. She visited a bheewi / khahinah and use to hold tamaima (elas) for 6 months and more over the bheewi gave some soil to put inside the vagina for months. Subhaanaallah. While she reject the "Jinn Possession" and mocking at the people who say Jinn can Possess human; she has done the Shirk!. It was confirmed that her non-pregnancy was due to a sihr cast on her. At last she said "I was not Knowing that Jinn/Shythwan is involved in thamima/ elas.
We have checked in two cases of Brain tumor (each is operated two times) they have jinn inside the body. Still under treatment and InshaAllah when their shaythwan departs the tumor also cured.
One Haafidh (One who by hearted The Quranil Kareem). One boy has habit of getting quite often savior angriness. When he get angry he breaks all house holds and has more strength than the age of that boy. It was confirmed that due to jinn possession.
Pain on the neck; feeling somebody cached on the neck. Some time feels pain on the back side. Last 2.5 years has been medicating from different doctors. But no result. It was confirmed due to jinn.
One man has savior inclination to a prostitute. He is having jinn and seems to be a sihr casted on him by that prostitute. (Allah Knows Best)
One lady become many often mad and when she becomes as mad makes duas to Allah in bath room. Close the door from inside and make Dua to Allah from inside the bath room for hours. This lady do not much of Quran especially the meaning. But when reading 46:31. It repeats every time you read this verse when she become mad.

The above are only some cases known to us and it is possible to have any cases like this.We expect all these will open the eyes of people (especially leaders of Kerala) and they will educate the people on this.
Please note: that we can NOT say in every cases having the above symptoms are due to Jinn/ Sihr/ Eye. They can be with medical reasons as well. We can conclude it is due to jinn / sihr only when ruqyah is heard and you experience the symptoms listed below.
The main nature of a disease due to jinn possession or sihr are:
a). Had in past any of the above mentioned or the like symptom and consulted a sahir/witch {(people doing black magic from different religions/ doing treatments with the help of shaytwaan like durmathrawaadies, Qhuraafi mollas, Thangals, namboothiries, panikkars, thangaluppas, ammas, bheevies, Khojas other man-gods etc.}and there by feeling/ believing that the disease was cured. In such cases what you have done was / is not the proper treatment but with the help of another shaythwan controlling the problematic sahythwan. Please click here to read this from Scholars... b). If the disease are not cured permanently with medicine even after year's treatment, (may be temporarily responding for medical treatments). and
c). If doctor fails to see the reason and if doctor do not know A confirmed treatment. Such cases can be due to Jinn possession/Sihr. So any disease the reason and treatment are not conclusively known to the medicine we can doubt may due to jinn possession/sihr.
d). Mere guessing from the side of doctors should not be relied. In such cases we should doubt it is due to jinn / sihr / eye etc. So ask the doctors about the authenticity of treatment - is it a mere guessing or a confirmed treatment?
e). On and Off: coming and going of the disease is a symptom in most cases for jinn possession and sihr. But symptom due to evil eye, in most cases, will be of stable without being ON and OFF.
f) If the doctors say to take medicine for an indefinite period, and the disease occurs on stopping the medicine. Then in such cases what you using is not to cure rather to make the patient complaint-less / adaptive for the disease.
